Escorts Kubota reported movement of 10%, 10.9% and 35.7%. Those are the figures as filed — what moves the price is how they sit against what the market already expected, not their absolute size.

Against that, the stock is -1.7% on the day at ₹2,576.40, and has returned -14.5% over three months. It sits 35% below its 52-week high, which means a good deal of bad news was already in the price. The auto sector has moved -7.7% over the same period, so Escorts Kubota is running 6.8 points behind its peers.

This is a Monsoon / rural demand event. Rural demand is a large share of staples and two-wheeler volumes, and it tracks the monsoon and support prices with a lag of a quarter or two. On the day the stock is -1.7%, so a modest reaction.
